During the pre-Christmas hiatus, before last-minute shoppers pay ungodly prices as they shop the malls of metro-America, I find myself eager to celebrate the holiday in a literary way.
My short story, entitled "I'll Be Home For Christmas," is days away from publication. To be published in a special Christmas edition of The Open Vein, my holiday story of terror should be available to read in the coming days.
Not only am I looking forward to the story's publication; rather, I am anxious to see what the audience thinks after reading it. After all, this is my first published piece since my first novel (The Rules of Temptation). Therefore, I look forward to what readers think of the piece. I welcome all reader's comments and look forward to them.
The Open Vein will be providing my email address for reader's comments. In addition, I urge you all to sign-up for updates on my official website (www.andrewwolter.com) so that you can be up-to-date on all my works.
"I'll Be Home For Christmas" will only be viewable and published in The Open Vein. I never anticipated a publication for this particular short story (as you may have read in previous entries). In fact, I'm sure this is a story that will only be available in the archives of my writings; so please read it while it's accessible.
For Christmas, this year, my gift was a home for "I'll Be Home For Christmas."
Happy Holidays to all!
